FAMOS Joins the Ocean Decade: Advancing Science for a Sustainable Future
We are thrilled to announce that FAMOS has been officially endorsed as part of the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021-2030), also known as the Ocean Decade.
By joining the Ocean Decade, FAMOS contributes to advancing ocean knowledge, supporting data-driven policies, and promoting a more resilient and sustainable marine environment. Stay tuned for updates on our initiatives and impact
1st FAMOS Summer School – Apply Now
The first FAMOS Summer School will take place from July 14th to 18th, 2025, at the University of Florence, Italy. The program will cover Ocean Waves, Marine Renewables, Floating Structures, and Stakeholder Engagement, combining lectures and hands-on sessions.
Open to Master’s and PhD students, as well as anyone interested, participation is free but limited to 25 attendees. Selection will be based on CVs and motivation statements. No remote attendance or financial support is available.
